Building Hope and Breaking Boundaries

Our Operation

    Medical Overstock

We are partnered with 12 major hospitals and several nonprofits in the Southern California area where we pick up medical overstock and supply surplus to transport to our warehouse.

  • Matching Needs

    Matching Needs

We work with several underserved populations, including communities across the border and domestically, to match needed resources in their medical clinics and hospitals to our current available supplies.

    Transportation

We work to cover all transportation costs associated with transporting these medical supplies to clinics and hospitals domestically and abroad. This work supports medical professionals in their pursuit to save lives and ensures this overstock is not wasted. Win-win!

Additionally, several organizations come directly to us including hospitals and other nonprofits (ie. the Red Cross) to pick up medical supplies and medical equipment that we provide completely free of charge.

    Additional Support

HBB also works to provide necessary additional support to these hospitals and clinics when needed. This includes finding vital specialized equipment and fundraising for life-changing procedures when necessary. Recently, we were able to provide funding for several life-changing surgeries for children in these clinics and hospitals.

BREAKING BORDERS SINCE 2015

Hope Beyond Borders (HBB), an arm of Circle of Concern, is focused on sending needed medical supplies and specialized equipment to undersupplied medical facilities around the globe. Many of these clinics and hospitals are unable to afford the necessary medical supplies to help their patients. Partnered with organizations in Mexico, Venezuela, Ukraine, and Cuba, as well as supporting projects in Vietnam, Ghana, and the Ivory Coast, HBB seeks to connect oversupply in the U.S. to hospitals and facilities where medical supplies and equipment may be hard to come by. All supplies are donated to HBB and in turn, donated to these partnered communities. Donations to HBB are needed to cover shipping and fuel, as well as small administration and storage fees. Founded and operated by  Hugh Margesson, Hope Beyond Borders seeks to strategically provide ever-increasing amounts of medical supplies and equipment to people, hospitals, clinics and organizations in need.

Hope Beyond Borders has obtained donated equipment and supplies from Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, Mission Hospital in Laguna Beach, St. Judes Hospital, St Josephs Hospital, UCI Medical Center, Saddleback Hospital, Memorial Care Hospitals, Memorial Care Surgical Center and Kaiser Hospitals.  Donors of equipment and supplies also include Medical Solutions in Santee and Everwell Medical Supplies in City Of Industry.

As HBB moves ahead, Hugh Margesson reminds us that doors will always open to continue our mission. His passion for this work and the incredible organizations and nonprofits we work with every day are testament to that.
